Located 8 km (5 miles) south of the city of Santa Cruz de La Palma, capital of the island, it is the main means of communication with the exterior of the island of the same name, which belongs to the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the Canary Islands. It operates with domestic and international flights from Europe. It has free Wi-Fi access and a meeting room on the first floor. It has restaurants and cafes in the boarding area and a duty-free store on level 1, as well as local artisan products, clothing and accessories, newspapers and souvenirs. Island buses operate to Santa Cruz de la Palma and the tourist area of Los Cancajos. Outside the arrivals hall, taxis are available, which charge extra charges for overnight trips, weekends and holidays. The journey to the city center takes about 10 minutes.
