Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport

Known as Eisenhower National Airport or by its former name Mid-Continent, it is the largest and busiest airport in the state of Kansas. It is located 7 km (4.5 miles) southwest of the city center. It serves Sedgwick County and much of the state of Kansas. It basically operates with domestic flights. The airport is the site of Cessna’s headquarters and the main manufacturing plant, as well as a Bombardier service center for Learjet and other commercial aircraft.
